PROJECT SCOPE

To work with clients to create an accurate design based on the client’s specifications, visual industry research, and our creativity.

 

ON COMPLETION - YOU WILL RECEIVE

As we develop the visual design for you, we will also create any visuals that we feel necessary for success. There will be a certain set of visual standards that are developed for the result of consistent message communication to your specified target audiences. By the end of our process, you will have final print/digital files for your use.

 

PAYMENT DETAILS

 

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT

A minimum of 50% is required as set out in this quote due to the fragile and precarious nature of releasing and showing unique ideas prior to compensation.

 

The final 50% is due at completion of the project. Requested files are delivered when the final payment has been received. Full rights to the visual design will be transferred after final payment. Please see following the terms for more details.

 

PAYMENT REQUIRED TO SECURE PROJECT

We can only secure this project into our schedule on receipt of the deposit. If there is any delay at this point, other projects may take priority. This is not to pressure you in any way, it is to inform you of scheduling terms. Once payment is received, we will forward a receipt of the payment and gather further information in preparation for the start of the project.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Preferred methods include Cash, Check, Major Credit Card, PayPal, Stripe, Square, Venmo, and Wave.

 

 

PROPERTY

 

OWNERSHIP and RIGHTS

All preparation materials, sketches, visuals, including the electronic files used to create the project remain the property of Visionbase Media, LLC. The final artwork/digital files will become the property of the client mentioned in this proposal ONLY upon final payment of the project.

 

If we cannot emphasize enough that if final payment is NOT received as agreed in this proposal, all designs and concepts will remain the property of Visionbase Media, LLC until payment is received.

 

If there are issues with the final payment, we then reserve the right to reuse or amend any of these ideas for other clients or to be used freely as concepts in our portfolio.

 

Should the client attempt to use/modify/alter/replicate or steal any ideas without making the agreed final payment, immediately counsel will be taken.

 

Visionbase Media, LLC reserves the right to show any artwork, ideas, sketches created for this project in a portfolio as examples of client work. This can be during the project and also upon completion. If you have any specific ‘secrecy/stealth mode’ requirements, please mention this before agreeing to the proposal.

 

Final payment ensures that ONLY the agreed branding package becomes the client’s property. Any previous ideas/concepts remain the property of Visionbase Media, LLC unless a prior agreement has been made.

 

CANCELLATION

 

TRUST

Our goal is to ensure that your desired message is communicated through the art of design to your intended audiences. We sincerely request that you trust our professional observations to make suggestions in your best interest.

 

CANCELLATION DURING PROJECT

If you choose to cancel the project before completion, a refund of previous payment will NOT be given.

 

If our organization is unable to complete the project due to unforeseen circumstances, a portion of the overall budget will be returned. If the pending design can be used for another designer/organization to complete, a percentage will be refunded based on work completed.

 

PROJECT SUSPENSION

We reserve the right to suspend any project if a client: interferes with excessive micromanaging, demonstrates a continued lack of trust and inability to proceed after viewing a reasonable amount of unique logo ideas/concepts and/or shows reluctance in paying the final payment.

 

Fair notice will be given with fair chance to remedy the situation without resorting to project suspension or termination. Any suspension or termination will not result in any refunds.

TRADEMARK and COPYRIGHT

If you require a visual design to be trademarked, you must seek proper legal advice. A copyright is automatically enforceable once a creative work is created. Upon completion of this project, Visionbase Media, LLC will transfer all copyright ownership to your organization.

 

NAMING

You take full responsibility for ensuring that the company/product name is legally free before work is started. Should any legal issue arise with the naming, after the project has been completed, no refunds are possible neither are we responsible for any problems thus arising.

 

Please ensure the name you are using is free and legally safe to use before committing to a branding project.

 

Name changes during a project can be exceptionally costly.

APPROVAL OF QUOTE

 

By paying your initial deposit, you are accepting the design products and services that Visionbase Media, LLC has promised to deliver. You are also accepting all terms and conditions contained on this web page to govern your actions and expectations during your visual design project.

 

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Once you have made the initial deposit via our payment system, the project will be scheduled into our project workload and given priority.
